Premium soil-free mix that is ideal for aroids and hoyas. It allows for drainage and aeration to bring oxygen to the roots and to help prevent root rot. It's our preferred substrate for houseplants not grown in semi-hydro.
 
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 inch Large Fir Bark, New Zealand Tree Fern, Medium Sized Pumice, Vermiculite, Organic Coconut Husk Chips, & Horticultural Charcoal.
 
Note: As of 4/17/25, we are transitioning the large fir bark to Besgrow Orchiata Orchid Bark (3/8 inch to 1/2 inch size) and the aroid mix will no longer contain the horticultural red lava rock.

DIRECTIONS:
Water thoroughly and allow for excess water to drain. We generally water plants once a week in this mix but watering frequency depends on light levels, environmental conditions & how rooted the plant is. Check moisture level before watering again.
 
NOTE:
We recommend using a liquid fertilizer to supply your plant with the necessary nutrients to promote growth as this mix has no added fertilizer.
